W. D. Beal spent decades in sales and management and is now retired. Filling his work life with a rich inner life as a musician, singer, and lifelong storyteller with unpublished poetry and science fiction. Published works include naturist resort reviews. Also enhancing his life with subtle teachings of love and energy he learned alongside his late wife, a dedicated tantrica.

Retiring to the mountains in 2018 he began writing in earnest. Most recently, using his history in tantric love, energy, and healing, he began spending his time weaving a tale around the magical town of Calin, bringing it into existence. Calin is a place where everyday people find that love itself can be the most powerful magic. A Shared World is his first published book, and it's just the beginning.
